On June 30th, 2023, the PROCare4Life project came to a conclusion.
This project had many goals, but at its core it was about helping people gain a better quality of life and we are so proud of the work we have achieved and honoured to have carried out that work with so many special people across Europe.
This project was guided by people with neurodegenerative conditions, their carers, and their care professionals in Portugal, Spain, Germany, Romania, and Italy. Without their honesty, openness and support, this project would not have been possible.
Our goal was to learn from them, expand the knowledge on how technological tools can support integrated care, and make a difference in their lives, and we are incredibly proud of our results and appreciative of our partners too.
This project brought together organisations from different countries and different disciplines who had to build a team remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite these challenges, we found ways of working together and supporting each other. We built new partnerships, collaborated in new ways, and made many, many friends along the way. Though we part from our project now, we all look forward to working together again wherever we can to continue working towards our shared goals.
We want to thank everyone who engaged in the project over these past few years, and we hope that people continue to draw from our results and learnings. Our website will remain online for now and has been updated with our final results, videos, links to our research output, and many other topics of interest.
Please feel free to reach out to any of our partners with any questions too. We look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you,
The PROCare4Life team
